For anyone who is new to Ubuntu (linux) and reading this, what should be
copy/pasted are the characters between the (code)(end code) delimiters.

the results of 'cdrecord -scanbus' (not including the ' marks) in my terminal
are:
scsibus1:
        1,0,0 100) 'HITACHI ' 'DVD-ROM GD-2500 ' 'A012' Removable CD-ROM
        1,1,0 101) 'HL-DT-ST' 'DVD-RAM GH22LP20' '1.04' Removable CD-ROM
        1,2,0 102) *
        1,3,0 103) *
        1,4,0 104) *
        1,5,0 105) *
        1,6,0 106) *
        1,7,0 107) *

On my system HL-DT-ST is in fact, a 4 week old, new LG burner, so figure
out the corecty one for you, from your results of 'cdrecord -scanbus'
and edit your command so as to point to the right device.
