zipped attachment containing:
- test2.html : the source web file that I modified to verify my hypothesis
(explanations below)
- test-import2.ods : the result (bugged) of the import, which shows that
hypothesis is valid.
Explanations:
The 2 imports I am doing are 2 tables from the html file (let's name them
"Table-1" and "Table-2")
Table-1 and Table-2 are 1 column tables.
They are both contained in another table ("Table-3"): a 1 row - 2 columns
table, Table-1 being in the left cell of Table-3 and Table-2 being in the right
cell of Table-3
Drawing:
Table-3
+----------+----------+
| Table-1 | Table-2 |
| +------+ | +------+ |
| +------+ | +------+ |
| +------+ | +------+ |
| +------+ | |
| +------+ | |
| +------+ | |
| +------+ | |
+----------+----------+
In the attached version I changed the number of rows of Table-2
You can see in the 1st attachments (bugged-result-with-ooo-3.2.ods) as well as
in test-import2.ods that there are 2 empty cells in the A column, the 1st
always correspond to the 1st empty cell of C column (that is right after the
last element of Table-2 in the html table.
I hope my explanations are clearer... If not don't hesitate to contact me, I
can try to explain throught instant messaging tools for instance.
Regards
