Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
System is Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid). Package versions: xserver-common 2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7 xserver-xorg 1:7.5+5ubuntu1 xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7 xserver-xorg-input-all 1:7.5+5ubuntu1 xserver-xorg-video-radeon 1:6.13.0-1ubuntu5 Problem only appeared after upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04, was not present in 09.10. Video card is ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200]. The employed X driver is radeon (NOT fglrx). fglrx was not checked. TV out has stationary, evenly spaced, gray stripes, spaced at about 10px one from another, and of width about 7 px. The regular computer display (MAG CRT) has no artifacts. Modifying the video output standard did not help. TV out resolution is 800x600.
