Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I updated from Karmic to Lucid, and my external mic has stopped working
since. I tried the advices of several forums, tweaked with the model
parameter in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, tweaked with alsamixer but
nothing has worked.
