Since Ubuntu users are early adopters, I believe this bug affects around 30-40% of us. I've used firefox prereleases and epiphany for years, and even my mom is an avid Chrome fan. I notice more geeks using Chrome these days than I notice using Firefox. This bug, by way of stastistics-collecting sites, is now deterring development of proprietary applications for ubuntu, and thereby its end- user adoption, on an absolutely colossal scale by making the Ubuntu market appear significantly smaller than it actually is. -- Ubuntu web browsers do not properly identify host https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584758 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
