I tried "During reboot get the boot-menu with several ways of booting into Ubuntu. The 2nd option should have "recovery mode" near the end of it's line. boot into recovery mode to get a disturbingly blue screen but with an excellent menu. Choose "dpkg Fix broken", but this not help.
