Ok same thing here. I'm using Lucid Lynx 10.04 up-to-date version. I tried to burn some mp3-files on a cd-r. It looked like Brasero would burn the CD: It created the image and showed a progress bar which said "Burning tracks to disk" or something like that. The drive didn't do anything though. When the progress bar reached 100% I got an error message "Unknown error" and when I tried to play the CD it was blank.
Workaround: Choosing "Burn directly to disk without saving on harddrive" worked for me. So I guess the problem is that Brasero can't copy the cue/image/bin- files it created to the disk.
