OK. I am very excited! I followed cmd_'s post #18, with the calibration information put into '/usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/05-evdev.conf', as in post #20. guess what? It works beautifully! I think it is the best I have ever had it working, in the 2 years (4 Ubuntu versions), and on any OS.
Now to get it into the default config., and the calibrator (or something similar/ even better) into the repos. The most exciting thing, to my mind, is that I won't have to go through the whole lot again for every kernel upgrade, as has been the case in the past. I am guessing by the log output in #20 that there are some hidden issues, about which I have no knowledge, and little concern, if I am honest, because it works, but I have to say... Well done, guys, and thanks! -- eGalax touchscreen configured as tablet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549447 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
