Public bug reported:
In the Ubuntu spreadsheet, in a column in which I need to record dates,
I have selected the format MM/DD/YY. But the system will not
consistently honor this format selection.
For example, the date August 21, 2006, typed in 08/21/06 will produce
08/21/06.
But the date September 15, 2006, typed in as 09/15/06 will produce
15/09/06.
This produces an inconsistency in the data.
I have not attempted to enter other months so I don't know if they will
produce the change or not.
