Hi - I am not familiar with how Ubuntu handles bugs or the concept of a bug expiring so I have to leave that up to you.
However, if this bug is not to be addressed then shouldn't you at least inform Windows users about the potential for a Wubi installation to wipe their system? Plase note that I didn't receive an email for your update on 22nd April - however, I would not have been able to comply since I do not have a Windows PC anymore - on account of it being wiped by the aforesaid bug!
