the related thing is that icons on overload/freezing are starting to dissapear. in this bug freezing was finaly stoped with killing all and then this crash report came but in that bug 53897 overload wasnt stopped- skype continued to send files and didnt crash and it wasnt stoped even with killall. just some icons lost (also the same) and system froze totaly so this bug was maybe coming becouse of overload and with overload also as in that bug icons started to dissapear.
** Description changed: Binary package hint: ristretto i was reproducing bug 533478 Deleting file and holding enter opens file witch isnt selected. Witch is to the right from deleted file. (when in folder more then 2 files and deleting with S-Del and not presing just once Enter but holding makes execute deleting and makes open next file) now this bug is even bigger- it makes open multiple files since i was holding about 5 sec after 3 sec started opening one ristretto with picture and i closed but then again more 10 opened. but in lower panel task list i saw only one (becouse of overload task list could show real time count) everything started freezing up couldnt open terminal. in tty6 i loged in but loggin couldt finish. (wanted to killall). aplication and places were lost and some taskbar icons also lost. in system monitore there was about 20 ristretos after 1min terminal finally opened and i killed all. and all icons came back and also applications and places + then came this apport crash report this bug also is a little related to bug 53897 Disappearing panels/menus in Xubuntu couse on overload they start to dissapear and as i once experienced in that bug i wrote that when they were dissapeared and on overload nothing moved then making hard restart makes them not show up in panels but still they exist in /.config/xfce4/panel ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: ristretto 0.0.22-2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-22.33-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-22-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Tue May 25 15:06:31 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/ristretto InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcCmdline: ristretto /home/User Name/Screenshot-4.png ProcEnviron: - LANG=en_US.utf8 - SHELL=/bin/bash + LANG=en_US.utf8 + SHELL=/bin/bash SegvAnalysis: - Segfault happened at: 0x8058c07: mov 0x28(%eax),%eax - PC (0x08058c07) ok - source "0x28(%eax)" (0x00000028) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! - destination "%eax" ok + Segfault happened at: 0x8058c07: mov 0x28(%eax),%eax + PC (0x08058c07) ok + source "0x28(%eax)" (0x00000028) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! + destination "%eax" ok SegvReason: reading NULL VMA Signal: 11 SourcePackage: ristretto StacktraceTop: - ??
