I am confirming this bug as it seems that is was possible to attempt
installation without having all the proper dependencies on two systems
(thanks Jagadeesh Krishnamurthy and zagyi!)
As stated in comment #2, bcmwl-kernel-source may be missing the "patch"
dependency if "make" is already installed and neither "dpkg-dev" nor
"build-essential" is installed.
