Hmmm... Maybe Geeqie is just using the underlying Gnome stuff, which is broken is some distributions. NAUTILUS is giving me:
3aa 4aa 20a Also. Geeqie gives me that in EITHER sort order. Gqview was fine, this is causing me a major problem, I upgraded Ubuntu and Gqview was auto-replaced by Geeqie, and now I have thousands of files I was working my way through in order and no way to go on with the work I was doing. I'm using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx - what are you testing in that works? -Tom On Tue, May 25, 2010 at 02:23:28PM -0000, Michal Čihař wrote: > With 1.0, I get following for numeric sorting: > > 3b1.jpg > 4a1.jpg > 5c1.jpg > 22a.jpg > > And following for name sorting: > > 22a.jpg > 3b1.jpg > 4a1.jpg > 5c1.jpg > > What looks correct to me. > > -- > Lexical sorting is impossible > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575148 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > -- "Let us do our duty in our shop or our kitchen, the market, the street, the office, the school, the home, just as faithfully as if we stood in the front rank of some great battle, and we knew that victory for mankind depended upon our bravery, strength, and skill.
