I have 10.04LT (Lucid lynx) on a Sony Vaio laptop. Everything else
appears to work just fine.

75% of the time the System-->Shutdown does not allow me to shutdown or reboot.
I have to go to Root Terminal and init 0 or init 6 to perform these functions
