Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

See the screenshot, between the window selector and the window list,
that empty space, there it should be the clock. I have set only to
display time in HH:MM format... and several times it is not loaded on
start-up, but it appears un gnome-system-monitor as a process "clock-
applet", i tried "ubuntu-bug clock-applet" but it sayed that there is no
package called that way... so i report it like gnome-panel.

regards,
