This bug isn't specific to Ubuntu. I come from Debian Squeeze and after a recent update of initscripts (and its related packages), I got these messages when doing update-initramfs:
Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-3-686-bigmem .: 6: Can't open /scripts/functions .: 5: Can't open /scripts/functions I solved my problem by upgrading all bootcd packages to v3.20 from the unstable repository. BTW, Splashy doesn't work with the new initscripts anymore. -- update-initramfs Can't open /scripts/functions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/546406 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
