This might not be related to totem since you don't have sound in youtube
or any other application. we need to reassign this to the proper
application later. For now please read and include the information
requested from the "Reporting Sound Bugs" section of
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems as separate attachments.
