I just walked through something very like this today -- your videodev / v4l and your device driver are out of synch. do this: sudo rm -rf /lib/modules/`uname -r`/empia sudo mv /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/media Código/media_backup sudo apt-get --reinstall install linux-image-2.6.32-21-powerpc64-smp then rebuild the driver.. see my forum query at: http://art.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9375404
