I get the same error. Also, when I downloaded the Ubuntu package source
and tried to recreate the package, I do NOT get the error after
installing the package as compiled on my computer. From what little I
understand after searching for the missing symbol on Google, it seems
the problem may lie with which version of Qt it is compiled against
versus which version you have... Naturally I compiled it against the
version I have, Qt4 version 4.6.2 (the standard version for Lucid), but
since this package is a little old (I mean, GLE 4.2.2 has been available
in Debain since January, so why not in Ubuntu?) I bet it was compiled
against a different version of libqtcore.
