Hi, I'm using Lucid and it also happens in my case.

Using LVM: no
Using RAID: yes (software RAID level 5 with 3 drives – dm_raid45)
Using encrypted root: no
Using encrypted partitions: yes (LUKS partition – dm_crypt)
