Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Ubuntu 10.04
I expected Firefox to open and remain on screen. Instead, it disappears after
apparently closing or minimising 6 or 8 times. This is followed by Firefox
seemingly tring to open again, but failing to do so. When I again click on the
Firefox icon, it opens and I can use the browser. But if I minimise it, Firefox
disappears into it's lair.
I cannot minimise other windows - they also disappear.
Hope you can help.
Cheers.
