Thanks for your report. The "Enter new UNIX password:" and "Retype new UNIX password:" prompts are emitted by pam, and are currently not translatable at all. Feel free to file a separate bug on pam about this. (Unfortunately this bug tracking system doesn't have the facilities to let me split a bug into two pieces.)
