Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
This is what I did:
1. inserted USB drive, which mounted automatically
2. copied a document of the drive in Nautilus
3. tried to "safely remove" drive
4. it would not unmount (in use by Nautilus, but no windows open) so unplugged
the drive
The system RAM then very quickly filled up and overflowed into the swap space,
causing everything to run very slowly.
Htop indicated that Nautilus was using an abnormally large amount of memory,
and this was confirmed by everything returning to normal after killing the
nautilus process.
