Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. And thanks to the feedback
from the Accessibility team.
However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu
install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug
can't be addressed as part of this project.
As mentioned earlier,
- Trash applet needs fixing to properly be read as "Trash"
- Adding one more item to the Places menu would be duplicating the trash applet
for a default install.
- If the trash is frequented by a user often , it can be easily bookmarked [
added to the Places menu ].
- Citing inconsistency with "Go" menu is not a valid argument , since the
Places menu has items which are not present in the Go menu and vice-versa.
