I think the real problem was that for any reason the library libgtk-x11 wasn't on my system though ia32-libs was installed. See bug #577794 After solving this problem I think that googleearth will work (now it starts until it needs opengl) when I shall be able of installing the nvidia drivers, because nowadays I don't have 3D extensions.
Nowadays I have installed the 64 bits flashplugin working without problems. I downloaded it directly from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10_64bit.html -- flashplugin-installer 10.0.45.2ubuntu0.9.10.1 failed to install: nspluginwrapper: no appropriate viewer found for /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so - conflict with googleearth https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527273 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
