What Brad means is that we only pull in what is available from kernel.org.
If the updates to the drivers are not there, then we have no way to get them.
Someone would need to work with the driver developer to ensure that they got
their fixes added to the upstream stable kernel so that they could be pulled
into Ubuntu in updates.
