My problem occurs in point 5 on the https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace page: "The program will continue running. Perform any actions necessary to reproduce the crash. If the program hangs but doesn't crash you can press ctrl+c in gdb while the program is frozen and then continue with the next step."
Gnome-settings-daemon does not hang or crash, but continues to function normally (aside from the 100% CPU usage), and pressing ctrl+c prints '^C' to the terminal but does not kill gnome-settings-daemon or present me with a gdb command line from which to generate a backtrace. -- Adding additional keyboard layouts causes gnome-settings-daemon to use max CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/587228 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
