Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: synctree
If the file tree has file name(s) containing the "$" character, cp(1)
tries to expand this to an environment variable. The arguments to cp(1)
are not properly escaped before the fork. This bug seriously affects
Eagle PCB CAD users because they label temp and backup files using the $
and put them in the working directory. This is release 9.10.
