I'm using Kubuntu 10.04 amd64 with kernel 2.6.32-22-generic, and I
can't mount anything. No DVD's, no CD's, not even blank ones. Here are
some interesting lines in my log:

The log is full of this DRDY errors and it slows down my system, DVD
drive is completely unusable.
