To be honest I don't think there is a specific culture about Ubuntu
which requires introducing to the user. If there is unfriendliness in
the community, we need to address that, rather than trying to explain or
justify it.

Having said that, I think a number of documents address your concerns.
Please have a look at the following documents and bring any comments you
have about them to the Documentation Team mailing list, we can discuss
how to improve them. I'll close this bug for now.
