i don't think that this bug is invalid. the option says solid color but
it does not give solid color. that is a bug. the fix is either to make
the option really do solid color, or to relabel to option to say "use
transparency setting from system theme".
anyway, i marked this bug duplicate of #549552 where they already
discussed this.
