FWIW, I don't really consider this bug fixed. The question is where the
bug is, whether it's wishlist, regression or whatnot. I currently don't
see a way to avoid
$ history | cut -b 8-|sort|uniq -c|sort -n|tail -n 3
19 ping www.google.de
25 bg
26 sudo gnome-ppp
As long as that is the case, something is not right IMO. I was just
about to open a separate ticket for that (because arguably, this
particular issue is indeed fixed, albeit it doesn't really help much).
That's when I stumbled across bug 189881.
