Public bug reported:
the installer (very cleverly) informs that a partition is mounted and is
unmountable because it's being used when trying to complete partitioning.
I manually unmounted the partition and asked the installer to try again at
unmounting.
at this point the installer died.
reran installer and installation completed successfully
