Hi gabak, forgive me, but I'm not sure that it's a size related bug. With my Evolution archive, approximately 400 MB of e-mails, the bug still happens, so I think that the size is not important at all. Forgive me, but still I have no time to produce the backtrace, I hope that you can use the one produced by Rick in the meanwhile.
