Binary package hint: acpi
Whenever I dim the screen of my Asus K52F laptop, it stays at my desired
level for just a few minutes, then jumps at the maximum value and stays
there.
I am using Ubuntu Lucid with both the stock kernel (2.6.32-22) and the
latest from the Ubuntu Kernel PPA (2.6.34-rc7). The problem is present
with both.
