Ok I am not sure if this is a bug or a misconfiguration of the xserver-
xorg-input-joystick driver... in fact I am confused/ignorant of the
whole concept BUT, did some reading around and got the impression that
this xorg package might be responsible. So I uninstalled it and
SUCCESS!!! My joysticks are happy and no mouse motion any more due to
the them.

If someone could confirm this then we can proceed to the next step which
is important: This might not be a BUG as I said but something good if it
is configured correctly. I mean that a lot of games require mouse input
while we would rather prefer to map those inputs to our joysticks. Maybe
this "issue" is related to such possibility but wrongly configured.

Regards
Yiannis
