Binary package hint: usb-creator
I have tried this both on my laptop and in qemu.
I have both Ubuntu 10.04 Live CD & USB Starupdisk plugged in. When
explicitly booting into stick, CD is still used. Yanking the cd out
results in random crashes and live session become unstable.
This is probably ubiquity bug, dunno.
