I'm not the person who made the initial bug report, but I'm having the same problem. I ran the debug command as you requested, Vish, and all I got in cheese.log was this:
Gtk-ERROR **: List item does not match its index: item index 50 and list index 49 aborting... Cheese 2.26.0 Note that if I use sudo cheese, it starts up fine and can take pictures fine. However, then when I quit, and go back and try to start it the normal (non-sudo) way, it still has the same problem. Not sure if that means it's a permissions problem (hence sudo gets around it), or what. Any help is appreciated. -- Cheese fails to start: Gtk-ERROR **: List item does not match its index: item index 130 and list index 129 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566057 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
