The status of this bug on my machine is as follows: For 9.10, I must blacklist both rt2800usb and rt2870sta in order for wireless to connect.
For 10.04, I must blacklist only rt2800usb in order for wireless to connect. The wireless card I use is a Rosewill RNX-N100. -- Karmic RC tries to load rt2870sta AND rt2800usb.
