When creating a file in Nautilus 2.14.3 (Dapper) permissions are not updated as per the umask setting defined in /etc/profile. When umask is changed from default 022 to 002 this should give the group write access with file permissions of 664, but Nautilus maintains file permissions of 600. This causes problems when a group should have write access as a default. Please fix Dapper and later versions asap. Thanks.
