Did you have any problems during the system update? I can see that your
system finds the card on a hardware level, but no programs can talk to
it.
Could you please make sure that the update was successful, and then
reboot. Once you have rebooted, please try opening a terminal, and run
the following command: "amixer", of course, not including the quotes.
You should get a lot of different output about volume settings etc. If
you get an error message, please report back with that error message.
