Hello Kamus: Thank you for your inquiry. Recently I deleted 9.04 and made a "clean installation" of Lucid 10.04 ( I'm trying to become familiar with Lucid, and to get Totem to play DVD's) . My PC and hardware are unchanged . When playing an audio CD ( using Rhythmbox) the sound "skips / jumps" occasionally. I also have a "clean install" of 8.04 on a separate removable HDD. What is interesting is that when I play the same CD (via Rhythmbox) using 8.04, the sound is OK and does not "skip" or distort !
I hope this is the info you wanted.
