Same by me. This annoying loss of focus also happens if you mark to install some package, that is dependend on some other packages. A window appears to confirm the installation of these extra packages. After you click "OK" the list of the packages loses focus.
I have had this problem with edgy and now I have it in feisty (beta). In dapper the list of packages never lost focus. It's not really a bug, but it's very annoying. Please fix it.
