Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I use the suspend feature on the computer. After resuming Ubuntu my
brightness is very low, say 50%. If I try to adjust the brightness using
the controls it shows as full but cannot be decreased or increased.
After a system restart the computer returns to normal.
I'm on a Sony Vaio VGN-NW11s using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid. I'm using Gnome
2.30.0. This is probably already in the report.
I didn't know which package was causing the problem. According to the
docs it is most likely the kernel but I don't know how to submit info
about that, so chose gnome-power-manager.
This is my first bug report. Please tell me if there's any other info
you need, I am a new Ubuntu user.
