Public bug reported:
Every now and then I am unable to change to another window by clicking,
Alt-Tabbing etc. etc. Right click also doesn't work, only keyboard
within active window (if there's one) seems unaffected. If suddenly no
window has focus at the moment, I am unable to do anything in this way,
I cannot even close programs safely before rebooting.
Sometimes WM behaves strange, e.g. it happened to me recently that the
only way to switch to another window was to right-click it on the panel
and then left-click; left-clicking alone didn't work. Few minutes later
even that stopped working...
This doesn't happen very often, but at least once in a couple of days it
does... Switching to Metacity (and/or switching back to Compiz), killing
gnome-panel doesn't work.
I cannot provide steps to reproduce as it happens randomly; however, it
greatly jeopardizes basic desktop functionalities.
