Happens to me when using Empathy 2.30.1 on Lucid... it's really killing me :( if u click by mistake and drag (often happens on touchpad...) the mouse stays in the 'dragging mode' and the keyboard dies...
Ctrl+F_ works sometimes - when that happens i can "sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart" But then i lose what i was doing :/ The compiz shortcuts still work before doing that. Nothing else does. Other times that dies completely and i have to just hold the power button :'( Happy to provide more info if needed. ric -- Mouse cursor gets stuck in "drag and drop" mode.
