Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Instructions to replicate: Given any set of text, for example: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. 1) Select some text, for example "quick brown". Your clip board will now contain "quick brown". 2) Now hold shift, and click at the end of fox. Your terminal will now show "quick brown fox" highlighted. In the previous versions of Gnome terminal (pre-lucid), and other Gnome applications, the highlighted text would be updated in your clipboard. In the current version of Gnome (lucid - gnome-terminal 2.29.6-0ubuntu5) terminal the clipboard will still contain the original select of "quick brown". ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- extending selecting with shift does update clipboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
