Ben, Good thing you pointed me back to the bcm43xx. I reinstalled Feisty Herd 5 and installed the updates. After reboot the PCMCIA-card did not work (as I mentioned in the initial mail), but then I discovered in a forum the fwcutter for bcm43xx. After installation and letting installation gather the firmware the card works like a charm. No ndiswrapper for me anymore! Problem solved!
