I have just found the OpenOffice crash is caused by the clipboard watch function of JDownloader. With this function enabled, JDownloader parses the clipboard content upon each its renewal, extracts any url strings from there and adds them to download queue. Copying any content to a clipboard from OO with clipboard watch disabled in JDownloader does not cause any problem - both OpenOffice and JDownloader work together just fine in this case. However, simple enabling clipboard watch in JDownloader while clipboard is being filled results in instant crash of OO - not of JDownloader (!)
Thus, I should title this issue as: "OpenOffice 3.2.0 crash due to interference from clipboard watch/parse by another Java application". -- OpenOffice 3.2.0 crash due to interference from another Java application in Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591952 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
