Thanks for response.
I guess my complaint is a complaint about WORDING in UBIQUITY.
For review, my complaint is that the FINAL CHOICE of installation
(self-partition set up) fails to **SAY** CLEARLY (CLARITY IS MY ISSUE) that
no partition will be affected
except a partition EXPLICITLY
indicated for use as "/"
or "formatting"
or "SWAP" in the
** IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING FORM **
(i.e., and not in, e.g., gparted,
in some earlier interaction.)
The wording is ambiguous and I'm modestly asking that the wording be
improved. (The action is excellent. As it happens, I guessed what it
meant and took a chance that my guess was correct).
BTW, it would be handy to be a bit long winded.
Say, for final choice:
REQUIREMENT:
user must specify some partition as "/"
user must specify some partition as "swap"
WARNING:
"/" and "swap" will be REFORMATTED AND
ALL DATA IN THEM WILL BE LOST.
IMPORTANT WARNING:
IF user ALSO assigns a name to a partition
(e.g., "/home") THEN
THIS PARTITION WILL BE REFORMATTED
AND ALL DATA IN THEM WILL BE LOST.
This would be clear!
